At the Royton and Crompton E-ACT Academy, we know that the life chances of our pupils are determined by inspirational people like you. We are based in a new state of the art building which opened in September 2019. This building has been designed to inspire the pupils and staff who use it.
We're searching for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 1 to work with teachers to support teaching and learning by providing assistance to pupils and staff under the direction, guidance and supervision of the class teacher. The successful candidate will be:
• Be a positive and caring individual
• Be relentless in their aim to enhance learning opportunities for our young people
• Be willing to join a well-organised and co-ordinated team
• Have maths and English GCSE at Grade 4or above (or equivalent)
The Academy prides itself on the level of support given to pupils in the classroom, this position offers an excellent opportunity to develop classroom skills.
Working hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Scale point 4-6 pro rata which equates to £16,579 - £17,249 - FTE - £18,933 - £19,698
