We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Practitioner to provide one to one specialist support for a student with additional physical needs. In order to provide the required
support, you should have experience in:-
· Assisting with Personal/Intimate Care programs in line with the specific needs of the pupil
· Assisting with use of prosthetics as required
· Assisting with feeding over the lunchtime period
You will also be required to
· Assist with the implementation of individual Education/Behaviour plans
· Support the pupil’s social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate.
· Select and use appropriate strategies, as agreed with the teacher, to support the pupil in achieving learning goals
