The Role

After School Club Play Worker - St Ursula's E-ACT Academy


We wish to recruit an outstanding and committed After School Club Play Worker to join our after-school club, offering the children a safe and welcoming environment until they are picked up from their booked session. The contract on offer is permanent and part time, 10 hours per week Monday to Friday 3pm - 5pm. The actual salary for the position ranges from £4,570.02 - £4,754.60 depending on experience (FTE £19,312 - £20,092)


We are looking for someone who is vibrant, energetic and proactive as our club can get very busy. You should have a positive can do attitude with good communication and organisational skills. Having relevant childcare experience would be desired but not essential.

  • Experience of supporting and developing playing skills
  • The willingness to carry out daily tasks following a plan
  • The commitment to work with other professionals and the family of the children in your care.
