We are looking to appoint an exceptional Teaching Assistant, the purpose of this role is to work with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction, guidance and direct supervision of the classroom teacher. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
· Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
· Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
· Support pupils to understand instructions and support independent learning
· Monitor pupils’ responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed.
· Provide detailed and regular feedback to teacher on pupils’ achievement, progress, problems etc.
Salary - £19,422 - £22,757 - FTE - £22,183 - £25,991
Working pattern 37 hours per week for 39 weeks per year
