The Role

Regional Site Operative - Perry Court E-ACT Academy


E-ACT is a multi academy trust with 28 academies across England, our academies collaborate and share ideas with one another in ways that other schools may not be able to do. Our regional teams provide a tailored support and expert advice to the academies in their regions.


Bristol is responsible for six academies, 2289 pupils, 325 academy staff and a regional team of 31. With a commitment to making a significant and lifelong difference to our pupils which are from some of Bristol's most disadvantaged communities, the successful candidate will work with us to provide the best possible learning environment for our children. 


We are looking for a Regional Site Operative located at Perry Court E-ACT Academy to commence employment as soon as possible; at times you will also be expected to travel to and support the other academies so a full clean driving licence is essential for the role (you will also need business insurance on your vehicle). Your role will consist of premises security, lighting, heating, cleaning, general maintenance, and operation of plant, porter and handy person duties.


We require practical, positive and energetic people who would take pride in maintaining our schools. You will play an integral part of the estates team and assist in ensuring that the environment (inside and out) is safe, well maintained and meets Health and Safety requirements. Duties will include security, general maintenance, minor repair work, and ensuring safety, good order and the tidiness of the school sites. We also expect the successful candidate to have a good understanding of IT.


The successful candidate will ideally have hands on experience of buildings and grounds maintenance and compliance, be a natural team player and communicator, and be able to demonstrate resourcefulness and a flair for ‘getting things done.’
