The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or aspiring Head of Department to take on the leadership of our Geography department here at Heartlands Academy. We are searching for an exceptional Head of Geography who will provide day to day leadership for the department and be accountable for the quality of teaching, learning and educational outcomes ensuring they are in line with the Academy’s strategic plan. As a Head of Department, you will be an experienced and strong classroom teacher responsible for raising the standards of student progress including enhancing the teaching practices of others.
