To £85,000 (more may be available for an outstanding candidate)

E-ACT is an established multi-Academy Trust with 28 academies and 2,500 staff serving circa 18,000 pupils across multiple regions. We serve some of the most disadvantaged young people in the country, providing education in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Oldham, Buckinghamshire, Northants, Sheffield and Walsall.

We are focused on providing the very best experience for our pupils. At the heart of achieving this, is a People Strategy and the need to recruit, retain and develop the highest quality staff. You will be responsible for the quality of our HR provision nationally delivered through a customer-focused, distributed HR Business Partner team. The People Director, will be key to developments across the organisation as we strive to achieve our strategic goals. We are entering a new paradigm in E-ACT, with the aim of becoming ‘best in class’.

The skills we are looking for are transferable, so we are equally interested in candidates who are currently within or outside of the education sector. Key will be your knowledge, experience and understanding of best practice HR strategy and service provision. You will be equally comfortable, as a strategic thinker and operational leader, and confident in leading change and new initiatives. Your ability to influence and lead at executive level, through well-developed communication skills, and emotional intelligence is likely to set you apart.

If our core purpose and values resonate, and you have the vision, skills and expertise required, we would be delighted to hear from you. Download full details from www.pentir.com/roles/eact .
