City Heights Academy is a high-performing 11 – 18 academy focused on providing the very best educational experience for our students.  We are non-selective school operating within a selective system across Lambeth.

Our academies can collaborate and share ideas in ways that schools may not be able to. We have an operational function to support our academies, they are there to offer expertise in their field to enable our academies to focus on what they do best, to provide high quality education to our students. Most importantly, we all feel part of something much bigger as our responsibilities go far beyond the four walls of a single academy, and extend to people and their communities across the country.  

City Heights Academy have recently been judged “Good” by Ofsted. We see this as a solid foundation for further development. We are ambitious for our young people and as a consequence are keen to develop our provision. 

We are now looking to appoint a Senior Vice Principal to join a committed leadership team and play a key role in making this happen. The focus of the role will be leading on the pastoral element and ensuring consistently high-quality outcomes in behaviour, attendance and safeguarding.

You will already have a track record of successful school leadership and leading improvement in the quality of education. Leading others will be a strength. The curriculum and the love of learning at the heart of what you do.
