Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey within an educational community that values diversity, encourages collaboration, and celebrates excellence? We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Casual Attendance Officer to join our academy.


The purpose of this role is to support the Academy to ensure attendance strategies are effectively implemented.



Key responsibilities:


  • Ensuring data is complete, accurate and up to date
  • Answer and record first day phone calls
  • Input and maintain all relevant absence data into SIMS, CPOMS and other relevant systems
  • Sign in students arriving late to school and follow up with appropriate action
  • Follow up on any missing registration marks and missing/unacceptable reasons for absence



Pay range: SCP 6 - £12.38 per hour


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent
  • Experience of attendance management in a school environment 
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential student information
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
