You will be part of an exceptional support network that makes a difference to our children's educational experience – which is at the heart of everything we do.  


We are seeking a Azure Cloud Specialist to join our National IT team on a full time permanent contract, and this exciting role plays a crucial part in the digital transformation journey of the Multi Academy Trust. As an expert in Microsoft Azure and Office 365, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the Trust's cloud infrastructure putting security first to support its growth and digital innovation goals so attention to detail and excellent time management skills are a must. 


The role offers a hybrid of both on site and remote working, and the successful candidate will be required to frequently visit our main Bristol offices and also our academies across the country, so transport and a full clean driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement new applications and enhance existing systems for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Academies and IT teams to apply Microsoft best practices in design and security
  • Identify areas for improvement based on technical analysis and propose effective solutions.
  • Lead the migration of on-premises infrastructure to the cloud in coordination with IT teams, ensuring a seamless transition and optimizing resource utilization.

 

Pay range:

Scale Points SCP36 - 41 (£45,718 - £50,788 per annum)

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant professional certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, are highly desirable
  • Relevant degree (desirable)
  • A high-level knowledge of software and hardware e.g., Microsoft office, networking software, modems, internet, etc (essential)
  • Sound Knowledge of Microsoft server and Azure Cloud operating systems and infrastructure (essential)
