Job Title: Primary School Teacher (Maternity Cover)

As a Primary School Teacher, you will be joining a wonderful team who are passionate about providing high-quality education to pupils. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a fantastic team that focuses on promoting on a supportive environment, independence and enhancing life skills.
This fixed-term position will begin in January 2025 until December 2025. As with all maternity cover positions, there may be further opportunities available throughout this time and beyond.

Key responsibilities:
· Set challenging teaching and learning objectives which are relevant to all students in your classes
· Apply a range of teaching strategies to deliver learning objectives and incorporate inclusive strategies that meet the needs of all learners
· Mark and monitor students’ class work and homework/independent learning within agreed deadlines to provide constructive feedback and opportunities for reflection to learners on their attainment, progress and areas for development
· Promote positive relationships between members of the whole Academy community, including developing strong supportive relationships with parents and carers.
Pay range: M3 – M5 £37,141 - £41,870 (Fringe)
Fixed Term: December 2025
Qualifications and Skills:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
· Passion for creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Commitment to the academy’s values and ethos.
