Are you a visionary Assistant Headteacher seeking to be an integral part of an educational community that nurtures an environment where all children can flourish? The post may also be responsible for a key focus for implementing strategies an academy whilst being dedicated to developing the whole child and has a people first culture.

Key responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher/Headteacher, this post holder will be accountable for 

  • Provide strategic leadership for teaching, learning and assessment within their areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure the Academy is always fully compliant in all areas of Safeguarding.
  • Ensure a consistent focus on the implementation of the curriculum across all faculties.
  • Promote a culture of reflective and personalised learning where all students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and achievement.
  • Ensure standards of support are effective across all areas of responsibility.

  

Pay range: L14 to L18 £68,586.00 - £75,675.00

  

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Proven success of improving student outcomes within a school
  •  Experience of using a range of technologies to support student learning
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
