We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Attendance Officer on a full time permanent contract, to support the Academy in ensuring attendance strategies are effectively implemented.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring data is complete, accurate and up to date
  • Answer and record first day phone calls
  • Input and maintain all relevant absence data into SIMS, CPOMS and other relevant systems
  • Sign in students arriving late to school and follow up with appropriate action
  • Follow up on any missing registration marks

 

Pay range:

NJC Scale Point Range 2-10 (Actual Salary £24,947.84 - 27,815.54 inclusive of Inner Allowance, Full Time Equivalent £27,656 - £30,835)

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent
  • Experience of attendance management in a school environment 
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential student information
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
