We know the importance of developing our colleagues to be the best they can be to ensure our children achieve the best outcomes.  We are looking for an exceptional Head of Year - Non Teaching to oversee the general welfare, progress, behaviour and overall pastoral needs of students in specified year group.

Key responsibilities:

• To lead on co-ordinating appropriate interventions for students in your year group.
• To work with students and in partnership with parents, appropriate staff and other agencies to bring about improved behaviour and attendance in the academy..
• To plan co-ordinate, deliver and support pastoral assemblies and form activities.
• To ensure all documentation and records relating to behaviour, achievements and extra-curriculum participation of students are accurately maintained and processed appropriately in line with academy policies.

Pay range: 

Maternity Cover - 10 hours per week, 52 weeks per year . M1-M6 - £9,738.46 - £13,417.54 - FTE £31.650.00 to £43,607.00

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 GCSEs or equivalent
• QTS
• Effective behaviour management skills.
• Ability to engage constructively with, and relate to, a wide range of young people, parents/carers, from different backgrounds
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
