Key responsibilities:


  • Responsible for managing the Academy office, oversee admin and reception staff to report to line manager
  • Responsible for maintaining effective and efficient administrative procedures supporting the Academy
  • To provide confidential, efficient administrative support for the Headteacher.
  • Provide liaison between SLT, teaching staff, education support staff and professional support staff on Academy activities.
  • To produce agendas, minutes and logs for all meetings and distribute as appropriate.
  • To undertake any other duties as directed by the Headteacher


Pay range: NJC APT&C Staff Fringe | SCP 18 - SCP 26, £31,559.00 - £37,124.00


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above
  • Relevant qualifications in office administration and IT applications desirable
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion
  • Experience of running effective administrative, clerical and financial systems, ideally within a school
